KNIGHTS DEFEAT EAGLES, SEPT. 12
The Eagles volleyball team played the Stone Ridge Christian Knights on the Eagle home court, Sept. 12.
In game one, the Eagles were able to put up the first few points. But they lost the match, 25-18.
Game two was just as interesting as game one. However, the Knights still defeated the Eagles, 25-17.
In the third and final game, the team tried to push back to win a game, but couldn’t make it. The score was, 25-19.
Junior Ashley Garcia felt that they played as a team despite their loss.
“I thought we did very well for losing,” Garcia said. “We played as a team and we actually worked on the little things. We communicated; we just did the little things that helped us become better as a team and I thought we did pretty well, they were just a better team.”
The Eagles will next play the Tranquillity Tigers, Sept. 26.

Cool picture! I love ice skating. So neat that clovis has a ice rink that people can go and enjoy!
