The 33rd annual campus graduation will be held Thursday, May 22. The ceremony will take place in the Peoples Church main auditorium at 7 p.m. followed by a reception in the PC gym.
The class of 2014 will be honored with various awards, along with speeches from co-valedictorians Daniel Moore and Tyler Laird, and salutatorian Tynin Fries. The Adoration ensemble, Kingsmen quartet, jazz band and Celebration choir will also be preforming.
Principal Todd Bennett, reflects on his past experiences with the class of 2014.
“The class of 2014 has been an outstanding group of students,” Bennett said. “They are a close-knit group who supports each other and accepts one another’s unique individual personalities and talents.”
Bennett expresses his hopes for the 2014 class both spiritually and academically.
“I expect the graduating class of 2014 to continue to be successful, and to develop an even closer relationship with Jesus as they mature and face life’s challenges,” Bennett said. “I first met these students during their 8th grade year. It has been a pleasure to be their principal.”
Senior athlete Annalise Rosik is excited to be recognized by her friends and family for her hard work.
“I’m excited to see my friends and family come together in one place to celebrate my work,” Rosik said. “I’m going to miss seeing teachers who have poured into me, passing friends in the hallway, and the community of the school. The people here have been in my life for song long it’s hard to imagine how it will be without them.”
Jared Franz,’14, expresses his love for FC and hopes to leave an impact on the school.
“I’m really excited to start the next phase of my life and to expand my horizon beyond what high school can offer,” Franz said. “I’m really going to miss the good times I had with here with the students, the people I’ve met here are truly amazing. I leave FC hoping to have made a difference to the school and the people in it.”
