This is the 23rd episode of “FC Underground, 2014-’15,” covering the week of Jan. 5-9, 2015. Senior Callista Fries is a third-year host and broadcasts the video news alone normally. However, junior Olivia Quebe is filling in for Fries in this first episode of the year. FC Underground is a weekly segment hosted by Fries, filmed and produced by junior videographer Tim Nyberg.

Girls Soccer has a game at Mendota starting at 5.
Friday: Boys Basketball has a game at home starting at 7.
HS Golf has its first meeting Jan. 6 at 3 p.m. outside building 6.
Thurs. Jan. 8 is National Bubble Day, the student leadership will have some bubbles for the student body.
Jan. 15, there is a fundraiser at Applebee’s, 15 percent of the proceeds go to FCS, the event starts at 3 and goes until 9p.m.
If you are interested in joining CSF for the 2nd semester pick up an application in the office and turn it in by Jan. 20.

“FC Underground” first ran in the fall of 1997 and continued until the spring of 2001. In the fall of 2009, editor-in-chief Suzanna Quiring , ’10, resumed the series, which was then produced by Paige Powell, ’10. After Quiring and Powell graduated, Brooke Stobbe and David Casuga took up the job until the end the 2011-’12 school year. Now, Fries and usually junior Tim Nyberg have continued the segments.
