Effects of the rapidly dropping Valley temperatures are evident on campus, as more and more students are seen sporting heavy winter clothing. However, prompted by the cool lunchtime climate, a small group of campus “”bandos”” decided to take a new approach to dilemma.Tired of eating lunch while freezing, the girls combined their ingenuity with genuine bando craziness, and built a campfire. Calling themselves “”Camp Bando,”” the junior girls set up camp under “”their”” tree, Franc, whom they have been eating lunch under for three years. Here, clockwise from left to right, Dori Richardson, Anne Hierholzer, Elise Aydelotte, Karen Tolladay, Melinda Davis, Melissa Jimenez, and Alysa Muzny enjoy the warm glow of their fire as they toast marshmellows to supplement their regular brown-bag lunches.
