Despite losing third-baseman, junior Brittany Shaffer at the season’s start, the girl’s softball team has continued to rally behind the strong play of senior Amanda Wood.
Lead by Wood’s, ’08, four hits in four at-bats and freshman Cassidy Hutchins’, not pictured, three singles and a double, FC defeated Avenal, 6-0, April 1.
