In the one-run complete game, senior Coleton Hutchins threw 83 pitches, recorded two strikeouts and 12 groundouts as the Eagles defeated Caruthers, 9-1, April 8.
As the team committed no errors and scored nine runs, Hutchins felt confidence to challenge batters each at-bat.
