The seventh grade class, under the guidance of teachers Ellen King and Hallie Rojeski, organizes an annual hands-on opportunity to learn a culture and share it with the FC community. World Market seventh grade student, Taylor Oren, left, sells goldfish, “Minnows from the Nile,” to elementary students, April 24 in the Ground Zero quad.
“World Market was really fun because everyone worked so hard on their booths and their products,” Oren said. “The creativity of the entire project made history come alive and was not just words in a textbook. This was an opportunity to experience life as a merchant on the Silk Road. It brought a whole new level of understanding to what we are studying in history class.”
