During the Southwest Sierra League Championships, the girls’ track team participated in several events, including shot put and discus. The group took third place at Fowler, April 23.

With a discus throw of 81’1″, senior Daniele Wilborn set a new personal record and placed second at the meet.

“She (Wilborn) is only seven feet away from the school record,” coach Ericlee Gilmore, not pictured, said. “She also placed fourth in the shot put (25’6″).”
