Junior princess candidates Tatiana Fontes and Kristina Logan battle it out in a soupy concoction of dirt and leftovers from the student leadership lunch the previous Monday, Sept. 29.

Although the stereotypical princess is prim and proper, the unfamiliarity of getting filthy in the mud did not faze the girls. The nominees dealt with the sight and smell of the mush as if it was second nature.
