While many guys stepped up to cheerlead their class team in previous years, the 2008 powder puff games experienced a lack of supporters. The freshmen, however, made an exception.

For their first entrance into the tournament, the freshmen composed the largest and arguably most enthusiastic squad. With the help of classmate and cheerleader Brooke Stobbe, from left to right, freshmen Trevor York, Joel Hernandez, Josh Hopper and Paul Ocheltree mustered the strength to support David Casuga in a half extension during the newcomers’ game against the freshmen.
