With the competition high and scores close, the freshman battled the seniors in the semi-final round of powder puff football, Nov. 21.
Freshman quarterback Danielle St. Marie, center, ran the ball several times, earning the class of ’12 a lead of 13-12 in the first half. While St. Marie proved to be a slight menace to her opponents, senior linebacker Natalie McCallum took several dives throughout the course of the game, eliminating the threat.
Despite the freshman’s early success, the wrath of the seniors was rekindled and they returned to win the game 28-19 in the second half.
