Junior forward Paige Powell, on a fast break in the Eagles’ Dec. 3 loss to league rival Caruthers, jukes past several defenders in her attempt on the goal.
Powell, in her third year on the team, continues to play due to her love of the game.
“I like soccer because it gets really brutal and bloody and that is when it’s the most fun,” Powell said. “It’s fun cause you get to roll around in the dirt and mud.”
