The 3rd period biology class made model cells out to dialysis bags to represent osmosis, Sept. 16. The students had to find out how much salt was in the blue solution that they poured into their bags.
Dr. Karen Walters likes to run her class with a hands on approach, by logging more lab time then lecture time. This week’s biology unit focused on the movement of water molecules through a semipermeable membrane and tracking the salt molecule in a liquid solution.
