The news does not always have to be about politics or disastrous weather conditions. It is about what is relevant in today’s society and in your life. Taking a picture for the news can anything from you and your friends trying a new coffee shop, or of a concert you went to.

A big part of engaging in the news is posting on your social media. When you post, you are not only posting about something that is relevant in your life but in your friends lives as well.  You never know, the next picture you take could end up in the news. Capturing the news is news engagement.
