A key attribute of FC is the emphasis it places on family and community. A major event that highlights this quality each year is Grandparents Day. Every student, from kindergarten to high school, is encouraged to bring their grandparents to school with them for the day.

This year, the 24th annual Grandparents Day took place Friday, Oct. 23. Grandparents traveled from a variety of locations to capture a glimpse of their grandchildren’s everyday routine, but more importantly, to spend some quality time with family.

Grandparents began streaming onto campus at 9:30 a.m., where they were greeted and given a map and a schedule of their student’s classes. They were then welcomed to spend 3rd and 4th period alongside their grandchildren.
