UC Merced representatives came to watch AP biology present the data they collected from a recent research trip, Nov. 12.
Several weeks ago the students in AP biology went with the representatives up to the mountains to study the different types trees. They observed the water concentrations in the soil surrounding the trees.
AP Biology student Julianna Rosik, ’16, enjoyed the trip but was nervous presenting in front of the representatives .
“The trip was fun!” Rosik said. It was great experience to be out in the field collecting data. It was hard being a student presenting for experts because their knowledge on the subject is greater than our own.”
