For the first time since 1997, the varsity boys’ basketball is given the opportunity to play the Tranquillity Tigers at the Selland Arena for the CIF Central Section Division V Valley Championship, March 4.

Senior Dean Potigian, middle, rebounds the ball and fights to keep it from his three Tiger opponents, who block him from passing it to an open teammate. Potigian successfully retrieved the ball and passed it down the court to junior Cooper Belmont for the lay-up.

The Eagles won the championship game, 74-53.
