As we grow older and strive for greater things, we never wonder why we wanted these things in the first place. We never stop and think about who influenced our dreams, our wants, our desires to become better. Who has influenced us in such a way that we remember it forever?

Literature has had a impact on my life. The House on Mango Street helped me realize I love literature analysis. Although my world is small, literature allows me to listen to different perspectives of life.
