The music department visited the Los Angeles Mission, where they toured the premises and performed a concert April 29. Eddie Santiago, center right, major gift officer, gave a short speech about the general background knowledge of the mission and later took the group on a tour.

“In a world where their favorite word is no, we say yes,” Santiago said. This is the motto of the mission, who, on Good Friday, presented over 4,200 meals to homeless in the surrounding area. On average, the mission provides people with 16,600 articles of clothing per month and 2,000 meals a day.
