Hours of rain pour down on Fresno resulting in the FC field being flooded with mud and puddles, postponing the boys soccer game, Jan. 7.
The boys soccer non-conference game versus Liberty HS is canceled due to the rain and the boys soccer will next play against Minarets HS for their first league game on Jan. 12.
The storms were caused by the massive El Niño, according to NOAA. The southern part of California has been more effect by El Niño and more rain is anticipated between January to March.
