In an experiment for science teacher Dan Harris’ biology class, the students create “snot,” Oct. 5. The goal of the lab is to see the formation of a protein and a sugar combined.
Junior Jenna Orcutt tests how long the snot can hold onto her hand while her partner Elora Hargis, ’14, is prepared to catch the fall. Students also tried eating the snot, as they used jello, sugar and water to create the substance.
