I pushed my way through the crowded stairway, anxious to get a good seat before the concert started. After a minute or two I found some seats and sat down. Having been to a concert similar to this one I knew what to expect. The pre show started as Citizens Way came up followed by Danny Gokey. Then the show started, the lights system behind the stage pulsated radiantly as the show countdown began. The Rock and Worship Roadshow commenced, Feb. 26.
Audio Adrenaline came up next playing a variety of songs including one of my personal favorites Kings and Queens. But the show really picked up for me when they started playing one of their older hits Big house which was released in 1993 from their album Don’t Censor Me. After a few more songs they went off the stage.
The stage went dark as Family Force 5 came up. Their section of the concert was bursting with energy, just making you want to dance. The first song they played, the lead singer jumped on a trampoline in another song they used a real chainsaw while on stage. These props made their portion of the concert especially thrilling.
The next performer was Phil Wickham who sang various songs like one of my personal favorites, This is Amazing Grace. He also sang songs from one of his new album Children of God. After His performance the stage went dark and Mandisa came out singing one of her hit songs, Overcomer. The music was so upbeat that I found myself dancing to the songs.
Jeremy Camp was next; as I listened to his music I could hear drum, as it boomed throughout the air like the heartbeat of a giant. As I stood next to the speakers I could feel the static around me making my clothing buzz. The music and sound effects were stunning and made for an ecstatic atmosphere.
This was an excellent concert and I would definitely go to it again it was well worth the ten dollars I paid. I think this concert would appeal to those who enjoy Christian bands. Especially if you like these specific bands. — Matthew Sue
After Camp came a speaker, Shaun Grove. Who spoke about how compassion international helps the needy. He gave his personal testimony, about how profoundly this organization affects the poor by helping them financially and sharing the gospel with them. This was followed by an option to help these children by sponsoring them for 38 dollars a month.
After an intermission and several extra performances by Danny Gokey and Phil Wickham. The the main event of the show came up, the Newsboys. This was my personal favorite part of the show, as well as my favorite band.

The Newsboys opened with their song That’s how you change the world from their album Restart. They played several of their greatest hits including God’s not dead, Guilty and Live with Abandon, they also played one of my favorite songs Jesus Freak. The Newsboys had some of the best effects in the show. In one part of the show the drum platform turned sideways and spun around with the drummer, with Duncan Phillips still on it.

This was an excellent concert and I would definitely go to it again, it was well worth the ten dollars I paid for. I think this concert would appeal to those who enjoy Christian bands. Especially if you like these specific bands.
Though I enjoyed this concert I believe it could be improved if the sequence of the show was changed. In this concert several artist came back up after their section, in doing this, it ruined the flow of the concert and often times caused the hype to diminish.
