The brass section warms-up their chops prior to their performance at the Mid-Valley Jazz Festival, Feb. 1.
The group played funk songs and a jazzy version of The Beetle’s hit song “Blackbird.” In the sight-reading competition, they scored a Superior and in their prepared reportoire they earned a rating of Good.
