Seniors Chandler Vargas, (left), Brady Lee (center), Cooper Belmont (Right), and Joel Ruble (bottom) all played on FC’s 8th grade championship team. The picture above was taken back in 2007.

Ruble, who left the school after eighth grade, attends Clovis West High School. Interestingly enough, the four 8th grade champs were back at Selland, each contending for a Valley title.

Ruble, who starts for the No. 6 Clovis West, played against the top seeded Bullard Knights in the Division I Valley Championship game, March 3. Bullard came out victorious with a 69-55 win over the Golden Eagles.
