Publication students from all around the country met over the past two days to speak about the importance of Journalism. They spoke of issues which are common to students and how to correctly address them.
Students from all walks of life take advantage of the opportunity to hear from a variety of spokesmen on all the different aspects of journalism. New ideas and methods offered by the speakers provide helpful suggestions to both the publications editors and their writers.
Though the NSPA rose from humble beginnings, their conferences now host a proud 4,000 students from schools all across the nation. The Feather has faithfully attended the NSPA for many years, aspiring to achieve the coveted Pacemaker award. This year, the Feather hopes to achieve the same success of their 2012-13 staff and earn both a Gold Crown and Pacemaker in the same year.
