The eighth grade promotion ceremony was held in the Peoples Church auditorium, May 24.

JH student body president Blake Deffenbacher and CJSF student body president Megan LeBlanc both gave reflection speeches to the family and friends who attended the ceremony. Also a special message from sixth grade teacher Jonathon Broersma was given during the ceremony. Broersma talked about the hidden potential in every student.

The first day of school for the 2016-17 school year is August 15.
