Andrea Soravilla, ’20, works on her information paper at the first T.E.A. Talks meeting of the year, Aug. 24.
Seniors Jenny King and Hannah Nale created T.E.A. Talks their Junior year of high school. The purpose for starting the club was to give an opportunity for high school girls to meet and talk about Christ, while forming new friendships along the way. T.E.A. stands for teaching, encouraging and accepting.
Meetings are held at lunch at least once a month, but are also held in a get together form off campus. Every day, King and Nale accept and encourage those involved to send in prayer requests, then pray over them in the mornings. Periodically the leaders will send out scriptural screen savers to encourage the girls throughout their daily life.
If you are interested in joining the club contact Hannah Nale or Jenny King.
