Junior Tynin Fries, Editor-in-Chief, Maddie Yee, ’13, Senior Editor, and Viviana Hinojosa, ’14, Features Editor, jump and hug in excitement after finding out that The Feather was named an All-American newspaper, Nov. 19. This is the third year in a row The Feather has been named an All-American newspaper.

The National Scholastic Press Association (NSPA), judged The Feather in five categories: coverage and content, interactivity and community, breaking news, design and navigation and rich media. According to the NSPA, the organization usually awards the All-American ranking to about 15 percent of all the newspapers they critique.
