This year’s girls’ varsity basketball team has a total of four girls as of today. To become an official team, the group of girls need at least one more player.

Junior Hannah Avila was on the team last year and really wants other girls to participate in basketball this year.

“I am excited for the season, but a little nervous too,” Avila said. “We definitely need more girls to come out and try the sport. Basketball is a great sport and is fun to play. I think if girls would just give it a try they would really enjoy it.”

Girl’s basketball practices everyday, but the time varies. Contact the office to find out when the team will practice.
