WEEKLY CAMPUS ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR October 17 – October 21

The Feather brings its readers weekly FC campus announcements published the first day of each week. This week coverage is from October 17-October 21, 2016.

As the sports schedule gets underway, consider supporting JH and HS athletes at our home games. The week’s athletic events are listed in the weekly announcements below.

Tuesday

HS JV girls volleyball at Minarets, 4:30 p.m.

HS varsity girls volleyball at Minarets, 5:30 p.m.

Thursday

HS JV girls volleyball at Caruthers, 4:30 p.m.

HS varsity girls volleyball at Caruthers, 5:30 p.m.

Friday
HS varsity girls basketball meeting at lunch in room 608

Saturday

HS varsity football at Riverdale Christian, 1 p.m.

PSAT

The PSAT is coming up on Oct. 19. Juniors are required to take the test and other classes are welcome to but not required to take it.

The Movement

The Movement is a free high school youth gathering at Peoples Church from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m., Oct. 26. There is a free bbq and the pre-party from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. and a free concert from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Sister to Sister

Sister to Sister will have a training session at lunch in room 627, Oct. 17 and an off campus lunch, Oct. 18

CSF

CSF members will have a meeting at lunch in room 601, Oct. 20.

Board Game Club

Board Game club will have a meeting in room 623 from 3 – 4:15 p.m., Oct. 18 and Oct. 19.

Debate Club

Debate club will have a meeting in room 604 at 7:30 a.m., Oct. 20.

TEA Talks

TEA Talks is a program for high school girls and brings them together to help each other on their walks with Christ. The girls will have a meeting at lunch in room 601, Oct. 21.

Track and Field

Track and Field is starting voluntary pre-season workouts. Meet on Wednesdays from 3:15 p.m. -4:15 p.m. in the weight cage. See Coach Fuller for more details.
