During Biology period 1, Science teacher Jennifer Oren assembles a lab experiment for the RNA/DNA chapter, Jan. 16.
For the experiment, students were to blend onions and other household materials to extract DNA. After blending all of the materials together the students added an ethanol solution to be able to see the DNA in the onion.
