Journalism adviser Greg Stobbe shows his passion for hockey during the spirit winter rally, Jan. 24.
Earlier in the rally, both the girls and boys soccer teams were introduced and played a game of human foosball. The boys basketball was introduced and then faced off against some of the teachers for a half court basketball game.
While some of the teachers skills were rather impressive, Stobbe was more ready for a hockey game than play basketball. However, the Canadian teacher proved everybody wrong when he joined the game in the last minute.
He left his floor hockey stick on the sidelines and promptly shot a last second three-pointer for Team Teacher as they defeated the varsity boys basketball team in a pick up game.
