ClovisFest Fun Fly hosts 10 hot air balloons during the 42nd annual event, Oct. 29.
Starting at sunrise at the Clovis Rodeo Grounds thousands gather to watch and admire the colorful and unique hot air balloons. Pilots and their crews were informative in educating guests and demonstrating their craft.
Devin Pitts, ’18, visited ClovisFest for the first time this year.
“At first I wasn’t sure what to expect,” Pitts said, ” But once I saw the hot air balloons above me, I was mesmerized.”
The hot air balloons took flight both Saturday and Sunday at sunrise. Crowds shifted to Pollasky Ave. in Old Town Clovis for a street festival with food, crafts, and the new international village.
