Senior Jacob Bynum signs his name on the letter of intent surrounded by his friends and family for Fresno Pacific University men’s soccer, Feb. 1. National signing day is the first wednesday of February every year. High schools and colleges all over the country recruite athletes for various sports.

Jacob has always dreamt of playing college level soccer since he was little. He currently is playing for the FCS varsity boys soccer team coached by Matt Markarian. Markarian has coached Jacob for multiple years at Fresno Christian.

Bynum’s new coach is Jaime Ramirez who has coached at FPU for 25 years.
