Kimberly Bell’s sixth period home economics class learn car maintenance, May 11. They are taught how to change a tire, check under the hood, charge the battery and check tire pressure.

Home economics teaches students life skills they will need throughout their lives. It helps students learn to cook, sew, and create fake banking accounts, teaching them how to pay taxes and write checks.
