Andrea Donaghe’s AP literature class discusses questions about short stories read for homework, Aug. 29.
The questions analyzed how plot and structure affects the stories. Tonight students read three more stories and discuss them in class, Aug. 30. Each night students are assigned a new topic to evaluate and read. Some of the subjects examined is plot and structure, character, setting, irony and symbolism, and language and style. Students use the book ‘Robert DiYanni, Literature Reading Edition Fiction, Poetry and Drama, Fifth Edition‘ to go through the stories.
This unit of ‘Fiction Boot Camp’ will continue throughout the next two weeks.
