Colleges from all over the country came to FC in hopes to draw students onto their campus. During the fair students talked to college representatives from 27 different schools and received a personal perspective about the programs offered and what it’s like to live on campus.
Academic advisor Michelle Warkentin organizes these events, which began in 2007. She had colleges from as far as Vancouver, Canada, such as Trinity Western University and Northwestern College in Iowa.
With more public universities facing issues of impaction, Christian colleges are attracting more students than before. Even though the school might be more expensive, more students graduate at private universities within four years, saving them money in the long run.

Oct. 1: FAFSA application opens, CSU application opens.
Oct. 2: FCS Parent/Student College Night Workshop (6:30-8 p.m.).
Oct. 7: SAT Test (deadline Sept. 27).
Oct. 16: Fresno State Application Workshop (9 a.m.-12p.m.).
Oct. 16: Trinity Western University Rep in civics classes (4th/5th periods).
Oct. 17: SCCCD email activation.
Oct. 28: ACT Test (registration deadline Sept. 22).
