Color guard practices new routines for football games, teaching new teammates the basics, Sept. 29.
Color guard is separated into two seasons: color guard and winter guard.
Sophomore Shauna Howard enjoys color guard and looks forward to participating in parades and football games.
“My favorite part of color guard is winter guard when we get to compete against other schools,” Howard said. “This year we are hoping to increase our skill level and put together an amazing show for competition.”
Color guard performs during football games and parades. Every year they participate in the Veteran’s Day Parade and the Clovis Electric Lights Parade. Winter guard performs at different schools in SJVCGPR against other teams in their division.
Come watch color guard perform at homecoming, Oct. 6!
