Joseph Igot, ’22, Sophia Reynoso, ’22, and Bryce Barker, ’20, gather to begin filming their Spanish video, Dec. 8.
This year’s Spanish final is to create a movie that incorporates all of the vocabulary from the year’s units. Students are grouped in sets threes and fours for their film.
Spanish students are given in-class time to work on scripts, which must be approved by teacher Rachel Rodriguez before filming, to insure that the script is grammatically correct and accurate. Students will film throughout the week and into the weekend in order to meet their deadline on Monday.
On the next block day, the Spanish students plan to watch each other’s films. Students will grade each other’s films, which will count as their grade for the assignment.
