Richards volcanoes

[/media-credit] Terry Richards watches as Micah Friesen, ’23, demonstrates his volcano eruption., Jan. 18.

Junior High teacher, Terry Richards‘ science class demonstrates the different types of volcanoes and lava, Jan. 18.

Students were assigned the task to recreate volcanoes. Each volcano was to represent and be modeled after real life volcanos. The kids used many different ingredients to demonstrate the explosion, such as Coke, Mentos, Vinegar, and Baking Soda.

Each project was evaluated based off of whether their volcano exploded, whether they knew what kind of volcano they created and the kind of lava that was created.
