Happy birthday Brenda Warkentin!

FC student body wishes high school secretary and principal’s assistant Brenda Warkentin a happy birthday! She celebrates her birthday with banners and posters decorating the high school office.

She joined the FC community first by working in Extended Care at the Northeast Campus in 1984. The following year she served as an aide/secretary. Once the Valley Campus began, she became full time secretary.

When daughter Denise Rempel, ’94, alumna, started 1st grade, Warkentin began her FC career.

Warkentin reminisces past birthday memories and favorite birthday surprises.

“Five years ago I went tandem skydiving in Marina, California,” Warkentin said. “Angel food cakes my favorite birthday treat. My most favorite birthday present I have received was my engagement ring.”

The following are some fun facts to get to know campus secretary. Her favorite color is pink because it ‘is girlie’. She loves Koalas due to them living in her dream vacation land. A special talent of hers is that she says she is a handy woman. She enjoys fixing and putting things together.
