I want to thank you for doing such a good job of reporting on the Fresno Christian girls’ tennis team. Because of your coverage, most coaches in our league and some outside of our league know us very well.

This past year when we traveled to the coast to play against Mission Prep in San Luis Obispo, their coach began telling me details about our team and our record. When I questioned him how he knew so much about us he replied, “I read your on-line school newspaper, The Feather.”

The same may be said about our parents and alumni. They are able, from anywhere in the world, to find out how our tennis and sports teams are doing. Some of the parents of my players contact relatives from out of state to encourage them to go online and read about how their child is doing.

In a real way, you are helping promote my tennis team and you are connecting families together from all over the country.

Be encouraged, people are reading what you are writing. You are doing a great job!
