Pastor Chris Schultz shares his message to junior high and high school student body about the parable of ‘The Lost Son’in chapel, March 6.

Schultz tied this lesson with daily life by sharing the news of God’s love and how it can affect students.

Sophomore Ethan Ham learned yet another perspective on the message of ‘The Lost Son’. Ham enjoys hearing a well known Bible story and grasping a deeper understanding.

“I loved Schultz’s perspective on a parable we have heard many times,” Ham said. “He seemed to really have a passion for the word and it came through in the message. I really felt the meaning of that story, and I think we all can learn from the prodigal son. We all are different and yet God loves us regardless and that’s something we all forget sometimes.”

Schultz also adds that no matter how many mistakes are made, it is never too late to repent.
