Color guard practices new routines and techniques, March 12. These practices aim to help the team perform better in their upcoming competitions.

Their next event will be their championship competition on Saturday, March 24. The competition will be held in the Clovis North east gym, time TBA.

The team has spent the year learning routines and performing in lots of competitions all around Fresno and Clovis, most recently at Clovis North, March 2.

Shauna Howard, ‘20, feels confident going into this championship competition.

“I feel like Championships will go well for our team.” Howard said. “At our last show we showed a lot of improvement and our score jumped by 20 points. The only thing I’m slightly worried about is that one of our teammates will be out of town during Championships and we have to rewrite some of the show. Other than the changes, I feel like we will do really well.”

The team will continue to practice leading up to their competiton, stay tuned for updates on the event.
