The high school Cantiamo choir and Bellezza ensemble began their journey to New York at 5 p.m. on April 9 and return on April 16. After leaving on their flight from the San Francisco Airport, students arrived at 7:30 a.m. sharp in the Newark airport.
They then travelled to the historic The New Yorker hotel. The interior of the hotel is art-deco and stays true to the time it was constructed, in 1930. Some main features of the building include beautiful design, 40 floors, and a 24-hour diner.
Keep up with the choir through The Feather’s Instagram and Twitter, and check back later this week for another article on the choir’s adventure and their performance in Worldstrides National Youth Honor Choir in Carnegie Hall.

The following video is a recap by senior Jaden Ventura of many of the sites the choir and ensemble visited during their stay in NYC, April 9-16.
