World maps

[/media-credit] Freshman Morgan Parker outlines her world map, April 26.

Robert Foshee’s world history class work on their world maps, April 26. Foshee gives students an outline map of the countries to trace on the posters. This assignment is to teach geography to students.

World history student, freshmen Morgan Parker, shares her opinion on the world maps and the class.

“So far the world map has been pretty easy and fun because you get to color in all the countries and label them,” Parker said. “I think it might get difficult as we try to label all the small ones and try to keep it exact. I have enjoyed all the projects because they keep us engaged with our subjects! I don’t exactly enjoy learning about history but I know it’s important to learn and it hasn’t been as boring as I thought it would be!”

Foshee gives students time in class to work on the project and the rest is homework. The assignment broadens the student’s knowledge of geography.

The project will count as a portion of their final and is due, May 14.
