The 2018-’19 FCS girls volleyball is coming off an 8-2, winning season placing them second in league standings. The team looks to this season as a challenge to bounce back after losing many seniors.
Senior volleyball player Sophia Kalugin shares what it means to have support during the game. Kalugin has played volleyball since fourth grade and finishes her fourth year on the high school team.
“I love volleyball because I get to play with a team and make memories with the girls,” Kalugin said. “It is crucial to have supporters out at our game because it pumps us up and we really like. Having spectators really helps the team play with higher energy and we are more excited to play for an audience than an empty gym.”
Come out and support your lady eagles as they compete. Home games are held in the FCS gym, 5:30 p.m.
