Sadies asking begins! With sadies announced in chapel, Sept. 25, high schoolers begin to ask fellow classmates with handmade signs, props, and other creative ways.
Ashley Gallegos, ’22, asks Edward Fikse, ’22, to sadies with a cheer stunt and sign, Sept. 28.
Leadership students decide the theme for sadies this year and location. Similar to sadies in 2015, high schoolers choose Great America. To tie together the location with a name for an appropriate name, leadership came up with the title ‘Sadies, The Great American Dream’.
Tickets will be available for purchase $55 starting, Oct. 15.
Leadership student, Fikse, shares his idea about his first sadies and his expectations of the day.
“I hope to have fun and to get along well with others at Sadie’s, “Fikse said. “I’m looking forward to the new experience and this is pretty new to me, so I hope that we all have a good time and everybody has a blast. Upper classmen in the past I know have often had a fun time, and I’m looking forward to that too.”
The theme for the day focuses on job occupations such as, doctors, firefighters, teachers and policemen.
