Over 83 TK-sixth grade girls accompany almost 50 JH and HS cheerleaders after school to practice for the 36th annual Cheer Clinic, Oct. 18.
Cheer Clinic allows younger girls to learn cheer routines cheer and a chance to connect with junior high and varsity cheerleaders.
They learn a cheer, dance and crowd-involved cheers to perform at the senior night football game during the first two quarters and halftime, Oct. 19. Varsity cheerleaders lead different age groups ranging from TK-sixth grade.
Shirts for this year’s participants are in honor of Eunie McEntee and her saying “For God’s Glory.”
The money raised from this event, will go towards varsity cheer funds for their competition routine choreography and nationals expenses.
Senior night for cheerleaders and football players takes place at 6:45 p.m., Oct. 19.
