Varsity volleyball’s season comes to an end in their first playoff game against Kerman High School, Oct. 26.
Eagles finish their season, placing second in East Sierra Volleyball league with a win record, 13-2, and defeated in the first round of playoffs, 3-0, by the Lions.
FCS students, faculty and family members came to the game with signs to cheer on the girls during the matches. In the game, chants across the gym take place against Kerman High School and Fresno Christian. Each side gets louder throughout long rallies and spikes.
Junior Kayla Vanderlinden places second in hitting statistic leaders and junior Megan LeBlanc places fourth. This stat represents players with the most hits for volleyball this season in their league.
Now that volleyball is over, many girls enter the next season of sports such as soccer and basketball.
